Gaara of the Sand

My final CTCon cosplay! Thhe costume itself was essentially a closet cosplay, not all that hard to pull together. The gourd definitely took the most effort. It weighed at least 25 pounds so it was a paint to rig and carry around the con, but i love the way it turned out I actually textured it with sand too!
I wore these half-blind contacts (they were screen patterned which made them look solid but you can still see) but they were pretty painful. I kept them in just long enough for the photoshoot and then had to take them out cause they kept sliding and getting stuck in my eyelids. Oh well. Pics came out good!
